The Killing FieldPosted by Jason Politte (Conway, AR, United States) on 2 May 2012 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. I found one of these tiny green flies trapped in a disused web that had become a killing field for the beetle in the foreground. After I shot this, I delicately removed the fly from its entrapment and watched it fly away in freedom. I'll be taking a couple of weeks off from posting. See you all when I return. My wife Karen also has a photoblog at Open Door. View my Spotlight images. The beginning of the Cruise Series can be found on February 6, 2012.
