[Scotland Series]
Sept. 15 2010 - Written in 1787 by Robert Burns, I present to you The Birks of Aberfeldy:
Bony lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go;
Bony lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy.
Now Simmer blinks on flowery braes,
And o'er the chrystal streamlets plays;
Come let us spend the lightsome days
In the birks of Aberfeldy.
The little birdies blythely sing
While o'er their heads the hazels hing,
Or lightly flit on wanton wing,
In the birks of Aberfeldy.
The braes ascend like lofty wa's,
The foamy stream deep-roaring fa's,
O'erhung wi' fragrant spreading shaws,
The birks of Aberfeldy.
The hoary cliffs are crown'd wi' flowers,
White o'er the linns the burnie pours,
And rising, weets wi' misty showers
The birks of Aberfeldy.
Let Fortune's gifts at random flee,
They ne'er shall draw a wish frae me;
Supremely blest wi' love and thee,
In the birks of Aberfeldy.
Bony lassie, will ye go,
Will ye go, will ye go;
Bony lassie, will ye go
To the birks of Aberfeldy.

@Stephen: Thank you very much, Stephen.
@Eric Cousineau: Thank you very much, Eric!
@Wild Mustang Photography: Thank you very much. These types of places are truly amazing sights to behold, and I'll be looking forward to visiting the Burks again during our future trips to Aberfeldy.
@Kenny: You're welcome Kenny, and thank you for the compliments. I'm not sure what you use for editing, but I'm sure many photo editing softwares will allow a very similar method of stitching photos together. I just use Photoshop Elements Version 1, so it's not CS or anything. In fact, I bet even the Gimp (freeware) can perform this task. Have fun with it and thanks again!
@Ainsley: Thank you very much, Ainsley. I'm glad you're liking the series' within a series. :-)
@Denny Jump Photo: Thank you so much, Denny - I'm so glad the Robert Burns poem along with the images resonated with you and everyone else who viewed this today. Your words give me far too much credit as it's the landscape itself and the words of Robert Burns that deserve the attention for it is that which is truly beautiful. Once again, thank you very much.
@Rick: Thank you, Rick - I'm very happy you enjoyed this presentation.
@Steven: Thank you very much, Steven. That's quite a compliment, and I truly appreciate it. I shall be looking forward to your future creation. :-)
