Lost and forgotten, this softball sits near the right field fence at an overgrown baseball field in Conway.

And the ball is thinking "I get my brains knocked out, bashed 100's of yards away, then lost and forgotten. Sheesh, come on , PLAY WITH ME"

Very beautiful composition.

Beautiful shot and not forgot for long I imagine, the person who lost the
ball would be sore, the words are readable, the ball seems pristine.

Very nice picture!

Ha! Great title and cool composition. Someone must have hit a home run out of the ball park!

Cool shot, something simple...but attractive at the same time...love the contrast of the dead grass and the fresh grass, well seen!

Oh! I know this one - you stick your hand through, grasp the ball and find it's too big to fit through the fence! Great shot of the landscape here and wonderful point of view!

Belles textures en tout simplicité....

Almost has a smiley face on it. It appeals to the psyche -- some sort of symbol of being well, fenced in. Did you reach in and toss it back onto the field? Did you take it home?

boys will be soon there again :) a lunch time for them ;)

A wonderful capture Jason! With the onset of fall the joys of summer baseball are soon forgotten! ;-)

Great find! And so well-composed - the elements and perspective work together so well. 5 stars!

I love it - LOVE the title too. In fact this image goes "Hand in GLove" with any sports scene around! Beautiful composition sir ;-))

Well-composed and framed in the links of the cyclone fence. Your PoV also adds nice depth to this composition.

Some kid is still wondering where that one went. Cool shot.

what a great idea! the "eye" of the photographer sees all!
very clever compo, with the fence fading away into the distance, and superb dof! love the low angle as well!

A lost one !

A nice job of maximum effect framing! Love it.

Wonderful image and great POV! Sometimes I take my dogs for a walk near a baseball field. In the fall, when the grass dies back, it is amazing the number of baseballs and softballs that were lost!

Nice idea and framing
